Shadorma 1 -- Underside

A drill bit
pierced a tree's rings
then broke off
Decades passed
Now a cross section reveals
steel teeth still there.

    1. Thank you Sherry , missed you guys bunches. I sometimes visit and read, but for several months now I had hardly time to write or read. I'm on a very intense case, child very sick, in a lot of pain. At end of shift I am exhausted, both physically and emotionally. I pray a lot to get me through it and be of assist. Use some of my down time to look up stuff online to bring some new approach, some answer for her. Things have improved in baby steps, but it may be awhile before I am really able to be writing daily again. I do a little editing of stuff I've already written, but in very short chunks of time.

  2. Wow, Lillian, that does sound intense, and the more so since it is a child. Make notes of your thoughts and feelings....perhaps one day writing about it will heal some of the stress. I do hope that little girl pulls through. Can well understand you go home wrung out at night. Rest and take good care of yourself, kiddo!

It would make commenting easier if you take off word verification ~

  4. This picture does have something to say about endurance, and reading your story tells me you know a lot about this. Thanks for participating in our Shadorma challenge.
